SELECTION CRITERIA

Eligibility: Eligible for Women, non-binary and other underrepresented gender identities that are enrolled in The Football Business Academy’s Professional Master Degree in Football Business with the goal to pursue or continue working in the Football Industry after graduation.

Scholarship Amount: 30,000 CHF covering full amount of tuition fees. Accommodation fees and additional program expenses not included.

Requirements: Become member of Women in Soccer (membership is free), write a 1000-1500 word essay, must demonstrate a financial need (Proof of need recommended).

FBA Application Deadline: July 31st

Candidates will go through standard FBA Admissions Process, the admissions team will select top 5 Candidates, and those 5 Candidates will go through a final interview with Women in Soccer team. Final decision will be made by The FBA and WIS and the Candidate will be announced on August 15^th.

Fine Print: The FBA Admissions Department and Women in Soccer will review applications and determine the eligibility and scholarship award based on the information provided in the application. Applicant must communicate any application changes to the admissions team and those changes may result in forfeiting the scholarship if they are not communicated and discussed with the admissions team.

If a Candidate is found to falsify their documentation and need, this will result in a forfeit after being awarded.

Need based documentation is not mandatory but by not submitting documents it could reduce the chance of selection if other candidates show greater need and have submitted documentation, so it is highly recommended to do so. Type of documents can include: Tax Returns, Proof of Income, Bank Statement, Unemployment Documents, Student Loan Documentation, Social Welfare/Benefits Documents, Proof of Dependents
